"I got your mic the other day and man was I surprised. I've been playing
40 years and I've tried every mic you can imagine. The tone is just plain sweet and nasty plus the volume is real HOT. You
wouldn't believe the sound I get through by Blues Jr. amp with the Bottle 'O Blues mic. Enclosed is my check for another mic
because I believe the Bottle 'O Blues is not just another harp mic." Rick "Mad Dog" Barrand
"I bought your Bottle 'O
Blues from eBay a couple weeks ago ... and I don't know if this can be a testimonial or not ... but it sounds great, I'm a
very novice player, but it made me sound like Little Walter ... my band mates want to add more blues songs just to use my
limited harp playing ... a wonderful addition to our sound." Tommy Tractor and the Trailers
"I just wanted to let you know that the Bottle 'O Blues mic I bought from
you a while back on eBay is working well. Interestingly its the most feedback resistant of the four mics I use regularly.
The JT-30 and Green Bullet feedback so much through the monitors I have to turn down to the point I can't hear myself. The
Bottle 'O Blues mic is much better." Rick Davis The Davis Blues Project www.davisbluesproject.com
"The Bottle 'O Blues mic has such a large, mellow tone that it minimizes
the importance of the amp you play through. Now, a tube amp and a little delay will enhance your sound, but if you are at
a venue where you don't want to carry an amp around, you could carry this microphone in your pocket. Through
my Mesa Boogie V-twin tube pre-amp, I got a mellow, translucent, transcendent kind of tone. The high notes were as pretty
as the low notes. The more you cup the mic, the more translucent the tone becomes. The
microphone is also very lightweight and has a head that is maybe half the size of a regular bullet microphone, so it is easier
to hold than your average bullet. Tonewise this is not a microphone for
acoustic style playing, because it will always color your harp somewhat in a "Chicago Style" kind of way. But that tone thickness
in a small package comes in real handy. It is plug and play with no batteries, no special connectors needed, just plug the
guitar jack right into the mic. A keeper!" Rick Beall www.onlinejam.org
